Dr.Daniel De JagerQualified from: BChD Pretoria 1982 South Africa, 1982GDC No: 59309

Danny has many years of experience in general dentistry having trained originally in Pretoria, South Africa, and has been at Tonbridge Dental Centre since 2003. He treats many families in the local area through several generations and his new patients often come as referrals from his current patients. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, in particular, placing comfortable dentures, conventional crown and bridge work and root canal therapy. He has a ground floor surgery will full disabled access. When Danny is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown up children and the odd round of golf.

Dr.Filippos MatsakasQualified from: DipDS, MFGDP(UK), MSc Restorative Greece, 2008GDC No: 176287

Filippos qualified in dentistry from Aristotle University in Greece. After working as a dentist for the Greek military, he relocated to the UK. Filippos' passion for restorative dentistry has been his driving force and he has completed his Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (London) in 2015 with Distinction. Since arriving at Tonbridge Dental Centre, Filippos’ friendly and empathetic nature has made him a firm favourite with patients. Filippos provides clear aligner treatments as well as implant solution based dentistry ranging from single tooth replacement, to bridges and denture stabilisation using the Straumann implant system. Filippos enjoys working with modern techniques and materials to ensure predictable results with minimal intervention. Filippos has compiled a portfolio of advanced restorative and periodontal cases and can offer treatment under conscious sedation. Filippos' particular interest is in restoring the worn dentition as well as treating gum disease patients. In his spare time, Filippos loves cooking and living a healthy lifestyle.

Dr.Lastelle van WykQualified from: BChD Stell, South Africa, 1984GDC No: 72613

Lastelle graduated as a dentist in 1984 from the Stellenbosch University in South Africa. She also obtained a post graduate diploma in restorative dentistry in 2001. She practiced in her own private practice for 10 years before moving to the UK in 2003. Lastelle has been at Tonbridge Dental Centre since 2005 and has a very loyal base of patients. She strives to deliver excellent and honest dental work. Lastelle has travelled the world with her husband and two daughters, and has also lived in Canada and Namibia. Lastelle is a keen lover of great food and wine and all outdoor activities. She also enjoys the cinema and some retail therapy in her spare time.

Dr.Leon BellinganQualified from: BChD Stell, South Africa, 1984GDC No: 81720

Leon has been with Tonbridge Dental Centre many years and is very well known in the Tonbridge area due to his large following of patients. He qualified from Stellenbosch University and relocated to the UK in 2003. He has a special interest in root canal therapy and carries out this procedure for referring dentists. His motto with dentistry is to “Keep it Simple”. With that in mind, he works closely with our specialists, to ensure his patients have the very best treatment under one roof without the need for endless referral letters between practices. Away from work, Leon has three grown up daughters who all live in different continents which ensures he keeps his air miles topped up. He is keen golfer and is consistently improving his handicap and when the weather clears up he is also an amateur gardener.

Dr.Michael Menes Boulis(Dental Implant Surgeon)Qualified from: BDS (L'pool) MJDF RCS (Eng) MClinDent (KCL & UCL), MRD RCS(Eng) Prosthodontics Liverpool, 2000GDC No: 78828

Michael is extremely well qualified in the field of implant dentistry, giving him an excellent success-rate for the work he does. Michael qualified from Liverpool University in 2000 and in 2014 completed a postgraduate Master’s training programme in Prosthodontics, at Kings College London (KCL) which he was awarded a distinction. In 2008 Dr Boulis also completed the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng) and for over 5 years was a Foundation Trainer for the London Deanery, training newly-qualified dentists. From 2012-2015 Michael was a clinical teacher in Restorative Dentistry at KCL, and in October 2019 he completed a 4 year specialist training in Prosthodontics, at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute. Over the last 10 years Michael has focussed his work on the management of patients requiring implant-based oral rehabilitation. Dr Boulis has specialist experience in both a hospital and practice setting, where training in the use of dental implants features significantly.

Dr.Ravi RavalQualified from: BDS Lond 2013 London, 2013GDC No: 244394

Ravi graduated from Guys King's and St Thomas (GKT) and has worked in King’s and Sidcup hospital where he gained experience in oral surgery and his membership of the faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS RSCEd) Following that he obtained a special interest in oral surgery and has worked in practice, including being a vocational trainer for newly graduated dentists, gaining experience in all forms of dentistry but especially oral surgery. He also provides intravenous sedation for nervous patients.Outside of dentistry Ravi enjoys hiking, has a love for cricket and is a keen gardener so you will often see him in the garden.

Dr.Saif Al-Arab Mohmmed(Hygienist)Qualified from: Registered under s36C of the Dentists Act 1984 2021 UK, 2021GDC No: 294584

Saif is a qualified Dental Care Professional with 16 years’ experience. He provides quality care to his patients by motivating them to be the healthy is one of his ambitions. Almost always he develops his skills and knowledge about innovative technology and recent guidelines to provide quality dental care. Saif’s aim is to improve the oral health of his patients by helping them to achieve and preserve their best smiles. To do this, Saif is an advocate of preventive and patient-focused care which is catered to individual needs. He enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry whether it be to improve aesthetics, reclaim function or to provide relief of pain for patients of all ages. Saif completed his PhD in Dentistry at Eastman Dental Institute/UCL in Dentistry and also works as a research supervisor for master student at the College of Medicine and Dentistry. He also has a certificate in facial aesthetics (Fillers & Botox). Saif loves continuing education especially in his areas of interest such as oral health, facial aesthetics, and endodontics. During his spare time Saif likes to read and travel when possible.

Ms.Gemma ClarkQualified from: Dip Dent Hygiene RCS United Kingdom, 2011GDC No: 161434

Gemma qualified from the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in London in 2012. Prior to her training in dental hygiene, Gemma worked here as a dental nurse for two years working with most of the dentists during this time. Gemma grew up in Maidstone and attended Maidstone Grammar School for Girls. After A-Levels she went to University College for the Creative Arts and studied a Foundation Art and Design Course. It was during this time that Gemma decided to get a job here at Tonbridge Dental Centre as a dental nurse, which led to her qualifying as a hygienist. Gemma leads a very active lifestyle, she has three dogs and often goes home to walk them at lunch. Gemma also enjoys running and going to the gym.
